Vitamin C and ferulic acid are a classic pairing in brightening skincare, and this serum gives vitamin C three ways in. L-ascorbic acid is the purest and most studied form. 3-glyceryl ascorbate and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate are modified forms, valued for how well they hold up in a formula.
Ferulic acid adds antioxidant defense, which is why this serum belongs in the morning, under sunscreen. A hydrating base of glycerin and propanediol, with five botanical extracts, keeps the texture light and the finish comfortable.
